Where?

I saw a post over at Insanity Prevails and it inspired me...thanks, Melli!

She posted a pic of her ideal place for a home so I am wondering where your ideal home would be? Big City? Country Life? Mountain? Island?

I am pretty much content with my surroundings...I love the mountains because they offer serenity & peace to me. (most of the time) *s*

Amazing what can inspire a thought - eh? I had NO idea! Well... my post will soon disappear, so I will restate it here -- I want to live ON the ocean! Well... no...not like a houseboat... like ON the beach right next to the ocean! Of course, I would also "accept" a house on the bay, a lake... heck, if Dennis would dig me a pond I'd probably be happy! LOL! ... oh... a ce-ment pond like the Clampetts had! (not the same as the ocean...)

I too would love to live on the ocean!!! I'm only about 5 miles from the Gulf....but my 'dreamscape' would be 100s of acres on a cliff somewhere with the whole entire side of the house that faces the water be glass walled!!!

And the water be peaceful--somewhere in the south Pacific. Alone for miles and miles!! (With miles and miles of soft, fine, sandy beaches. And no PEOPLE for hundreds of miles too.

I live in a suburb by the ocean and love the vicinity of a large city... I need a big city, I am a cement flower, lol.

My dream is to run away and live in Tuscany. Perhaps I better start off with just a visit.lol

Take care,

see, that'd be hard. I'd love to live near the ocean, in a big city, and in the mountains. :) Everytime I drive home to my parents house, I get a warm tingly feeling looking at my blue ridge mountains.

the only place I've found that involves all three is Sydney, Australia!

I wouldn't choose to live anywhere but here. But I would like to live in a more homey neighborhood.

Hm... yes, tough question... I guess I want a bit of everything, but my absolutely favorite is the Sea, that would be a dream to live nearby.

I would love to live in a tall highrise apartment building in Manhattan.
