Picture This....

It is a few minutes before 5:00 a.m. and Sheba wakes me up to be taken out...it is pitch dark & is raining buckets. Sheba, being predominantly black, vanishes into thin air and I hunt & hunt for her without luck so I wake up the infamous Mr. K & we both search for her. Luckily, I found her in the neighbor's yard but all 3 of us were absolutely drenched by that time. LOL

Y'all must be getting the stuff we had over the weekend. The city was drenched, and as always when we get more than an inch of rain....the patio seems like the most likely place for rain to stand in puddles and it's so low down on the foundation....it leaks into the carpet!

I bet you all were drenched. (It's a funny story in a way tho Chi....we do so much for our pets, don't we? Gotta love 'em!!!)

I'm glad we aren't drenched like that over here - yet, better to add that maybe :-)

Next time, better to wear the life jacket... *LMAO*

Oh my gosh, Chi! My heart just sank and my throat got that heavy feeling while I was reading this post. I'm so glad that you found little Sheba.

Stay dry, girl!

I'm so glad it all worked out in the end. It would have been very scary to lose her in the dark!

5:00am - by that time (Mon-Fri) I have my first cup of coffee :) - but 'hunting down' our pets would be far from my mind at that time...
