Green Tea, Anyone?

"Better to be deprived of food for three days, than tea for one."
(Ancient Chinese Proverb)

I have recently started drinking green tea as I read that it could possibly help prevent cancer. I also did an online search & found more benefits of green tea.

To learn more about these benefits, you may visit The Miracle Of Green Tea and The Many Benefits Of Green Tea.

On a personal note, I have chosen the Lipton brand of green tea and it tastes really good to me. *s*

I love to drink tea but as I have gotten older it tends to send me running for the bathroom! I still drink an herbal tea every now and then but mostly stick to water! I have a can of green tea from Taiwan (the kind you put in a tea ball) that has never been opened. We enjoyed the first one but found it to be more caffinated than coffee! LOL But it is good for you!

Living in Japan, me knows a tad about green tea :)
Lipton green tea?!?!?! Does it come in those little pouches :(
The best green tea should be in a green powder that you add to hot water ;)
And yes, very health, and tasty, stuff :)
Me also recommends something called "sobacha" :)

I do drink green tea on occassion - but am still much more a fan of black tea! I find ANY tea to be good for me though -- because it helps me relax and rid myself of minor stresses... I have also given up Starbucks frappacino's in favor of their shaken iced tea lemonade -- unsweetend! That is my big treat when I'm done grocery shopping! ;)

my problem with green tea is that it's got caffeine in it, which I can't have. :( If you find a brand without it, let me know

Yes, I've heard that too and why not, tea as tea. Actually I could really use some tea right now, with honey, to cure my cold. So....

*off to the kitchen*

I love, love, love green tea! I even have the little packets that you can empty into your water bottle and voila--green tea. But, I still really prefer the hot.

Like you, I've also read a lot about how good it is for you. Let's keep our fingers crossed that it'll work for us!
