Can you name the artists?

In the sentences below are words to 8 songs...can you guess the artist who sang each song? *s*

I'm walking to New Orleans; then I'm leaving on a jet plane because it's a rainy night in Georgia...I think it must be raining all over the world! Maybe I will make reservations at the Hotel California or perhaps visit sweet home, Alabama. When I feel like I am strong enough, I may decide to walk the streets of Bakersfield. I guess it is good that these boots are made for walking!

Uhum... Don't expect any answers from us, we only have one functional brain TOGETHER. Some times we fear that we're in the pre-stage of althzeimers... *lol*

Especially in the mornings... Which by the way can be in the afternoon. I guess we're adjusted to U.S time. *S*

I'm not very keen in writers of songs. I know Leaving On A Jet Plane as I have an organ piece of that song.
Thanks for dropping by.

I got the Eagles, but I never know the names of bands, even though I can probably sing every one of those songs word for word. Yep, I'm weird.
